- champ: This Yield-stock...$KMI...is HOD at $27.50, I add again and it is up 2.58%, in the last 5-days, the price target is around $30.00. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This pipeline company pays 4.27%, to watch it climb into the New-Year....... ....pays better than any Bank......... and it looks like Entry-timing........ ....and I'm parking large Cash in this stock...... because I have to park my Cash somewhere and this is a safe place, IMO.

- Lou: @champ $KMI #Great-place #Right-Now, - I hope you're right, but it's a pipeline company, yielding a lot less than other pipeline companies that are much more tax efficient (distributions are sheltered by depreciation) and yield a lot more, 7.5% to around 9%. When energy companies move up, $KMI moves less than the MLPs. Sure, the others are buy and hold, but the tax efficiency and yield make them more attractive to some of us. Comparing apples to apples, I much prefer my $WELL, a health care and senior housing REIT, to $KMI. FYI - $WELL is just an outstanding company, run by a killer management team, and in the sweet spot for REITs.

- Lou: @champ $KMI #Low-risk. - I like it but prefer the tax deferred cash flow from the MLPs in the same business. I own a number of them, enjoy the CF that is treated for tax purposes as return of capital. I own relatively large positions in $ET $EPD and $MPLX as well as some $USAC and $WES. Helps me sleep at night as I know how Uncle will help me cover my cash flow needs, and I don't have to pay him back.

- champ: $KMI...is HOD at $27.90, they reported nice earnings on 7/16/after, might finally get the start of a New-zig-zag leg higher. ....TD Cowen initiated with a Buy, on 7/7, with a price target at $34. .... X-Date is on 7/31. The most recent low was just yesterday, at $26.89, where I started to get Back-in and I added this morning, I doubled-up my position size. - Henry: @SusanW $KMI when it had it's big drop TOS news attributed it to DeepSeek, needing less energy for US AI. That's a stretch in my mind.
- phgruver: @Henry $KMI I think that drop was participated by a missed earnings report. In fact, I just noticed that $KMI missed on earnings all 4 quarters, last year! At the same time, they scored a "AAA" on ESG. That's disturbing.... At the same time, $KMI seems to be finding support at this level, and today's candle closed in the upper 1/2 of it's range. If it goes green tomorrow, it could be a buy/add, but it needs to go green with volume.
