    $CCJ -- Pushing against an all-time high.

$OKLO -- Pushing against $80 and having trouble breaking that ceiling. This has been a great stock for us. After it resets, it might start another leg higher.

    $LDOS -- Down a bit this morning. Yeste ...
  • woodman: @ReneeH $URA $CCJ $NNE $OKLO $URNM $SPY - In that timeframe, $LEU is up over 28%. Long LEU and OKLO.
  • ReneeH: @woodman if you're inclined to share, we're both hot for the AI energy plays, curious how you'd rank these for LT holdings?: $GEV, $VST, $BE, $MP, $LEU, $OKLO + the Nukes like $CCJ, $NNE + other key leaders?. I'm contemplating how I want to allocate. Thanks mucho.
  • woodman: @ReneeH $GEV $VST $BE $MP $LEU $OKLO $CCJ $NNE - Hi, Renee. I've been trading the charts and keeping myself informed generally about what they do and why they are imporant. But I have not done the work to be able rank them as long term holdings. I know many feel that OKLO is one to keep long term, but I wouldn't feel good about making any predictions. OKLO is more of a hair-on-fire stock now, it seems. Perhaps over many years it will be a sensational gainer. If GEV VST $CEG $NRG are more like steady eddies, without the hair on fire aspects, they may make for good long term stocks as well. Ones you can hold and not lose as much sleep as the OKLO's of the world. Sorry I'm not of more use here.
  • ReneeH: $URA, $CCJ, $NNE, $OKLO: The Uranium Miners ETF ($URNM) has closed higher for four straight sessions, gaining +14.5% since Wednesday. It's flirting with fresh YTD highs, closing above $50 for the third time this year. Uranium could be the next commodity to surge. The ratio ($URNM/$SPY) has established a potential bottom over the past year, and reclaiming its July peak would unlock further outperformance. The other popular Uranium ETF, $URA, is up twice as much as $URNM this year, thanks to its inclusion of $OKLO and a heavier tilt toward $CCJ. However, both funds are outpacing the S&P 500 YTD. (YTD Returns: $URA +51%, $URNM: +25%, $SPY+11%.) The Takeaway: Uranium has set the stage for a meaningful move in the coming weeks, with the ratio ($URNM/$SPY) carving a potential bottom and pressing against fresh YTD highs.
  • ReneeH: $NNE bottom feeder play, potential bottom. Uranium if you're into it, + $CCJ
  • ReneeH: @camaro69 $NNE i like it. +$CCJ
  • ReneeH: @Henry $OKLO $GEV $VST $BE +$CCJ imo
  • woodman: @ReneeH $OKLO $GEV $VST $BE $CCJ - In addition, I'd keep $LEU and $CEG on the watchlist.
  • Henry: $CCJ $SMR $NNE $OKLO CCJ beat is forming a bearish engulfing candle the rest of the lot are up
  • woodman: @Henry $CCJ $SMR $NNE $OKLO - The uranium stocks are all red today. $CCJ (np) looks like the worst of them today. $LEU, which I'm still in, is the tallest midget.

  • woodman: Uranium stocks continue to work, though red today. $URNM $URA $CCJ are pretty much still moving right up the 8dEMA. $LEU broke the 8dEMA, now testing the 21dEMA. Others for the Uranium watchlist include: $NXE $URNJ $DNN $UROY $URG $UEC $UUUU

One area that will benefit as well, but which I've not been involved with recently (but should have been), are the uranium stocks., such as: $URG $UEC $UROY $UUUU $URNJ $NXE $URNM $URA $DNN $CCJ $LEU.
  • Ern: @PhilHarmonic #Uranium Good find thanks' Which you like better? $CNN or $CCJ
  • Ern: @Ern $CNN $CCJ #Uranium Correction $DNN
  • PhilHarmonic: @Ern $CNN $CCJ $DNN #Uranium $CCJ is the better company and has a much better chart. So if I was an investor $CCJ would be my choice. But I am a player and $DNN appeals to my gambling instincts. Higher risk is more exciting for me.
  • Dig44north: $CCJ on the move, earnings behind it, above all ma’s
  • Henry: $UEC $URA $CCJ headline on the Bloomberg chryon Uranium Markets freezes as investors spooked by tariffs. They all have terrible charts but would he really put tariffs on U?
  • Henry: $NNE $SMR $CCJ One up two down?
  • cgendro1: @Henry $NNE $SMR $CCJ -$OKLO up :)
  • woodman: And $URA $UEC $CCJ
  • Henry: @woodman $NNE $SMR $CCJ Nukes joined some of the other fast movers yesterday falling out of favor. I think the Election euphoria is wearing off.
  • woodman: @Henry $NNE $SMR $CCJ - looks that way. I'm out of my nuke trades - $NNE $SMR and $AMSC
  • Henry: $SMR $NNE $CCJ Nukes strong out of the gate
  • Motorman: $CCJ Break out. ATH. NP, but @traderbren and @Henry had some good posts.
  • traderbren: $CCJ - getting a nice bid this morning. Long from below.
  • traderbren: $CCJ - back above the 8ema and clearing the 20d here....may be poised for the next leg higher.
  • Henry: @Patrylak $URA $URAA as a rule I don't love the double and triple etfs. So it comes down to what you believe about nuclear energy. Some say it is the only green energy capable of supplying our needs. However it faces a perpetual NIB mentality. For the moment, my money is on $CCJ $SMR and $NNE. I'm going to call all of these highly speculative. I am not saying CCJ a better choice than URA, I chose it because I owned it in the distant past.
  • Patrylak: @Henry $URA $URAA $CCJ $SMR $NNE Thanks from a chart perspective what do you think

  • traderbren: $CCJ and $URA - poised to move higher.
  • traderbren: $CCJ - looking constructive here; above the 20d and pushing above the 8 ema
  • scottrades: @traderbren $CCJ Same on $URA (which is mostly just CCJ) https://www.globalxetfs.com/funds/ura/
  • scottrades: $CCJ Higher High.
  • bigbartabs: @kenb $NNE $OKLO $CCJ ... yes bullish... me too, and why surprising that the bottom fell out so easily. My core position is $CCJ... a consistent nuc queen bee... although RSI shows way over bought. Tight low alarm.
  • curtis: $CCJ sold 1/3.
  • Onthemark: @curtis $CCJ Well played.
  • Aibistin-1: @Onthemark $NNE $CCJ They popped today because of Amazon. https://www.investors.com/research/ibd-stock-of-the-day/amzon-goes-nuclear-cameco-stock-explodes/?src=A00220
  • Onthemark: @Aibistin-1 $NNE $CCJ Yes, $NNE hitting 18.98. Now well over 19
  • Motorman: Just a little skeptical about uranium stocks like $CCJ. After last ER 7/31. It fell from 45 to 36. That was after a pullback from 55 to 45 it already had in mid July. Has that much changed since then besides big tech talk of nuclear energy investments? Next ER 11/7. So there is time, but it it is at July high gain. thoughts?
  • PhilHarmonic: @Motorman $CCJ Nuclear energy. Just beginning. Buy and hold
  • kenb: @Motorman $CCJ wondering the same thing, is this a sell the news situation? No position in $CCJ , but started a position in $NNE (up 31% today) last week and doing nicely. With all the news lately about big tech investing in nuclear to power their data centers (part of the AI infrastructure play), my thoughts are that this will continue for a while and am holding for now.
  • Motorman: @PhilHarmonic $CCJ Thanks Phil.
  • bigbartabs: Nuclear ... $NNE $CCJ $URA $NLR ... all on fire today
  • Motorman: @kenb $CCJ $NNE Yes, that is very true. Momentum can keep going. So probably safe until ER. hold a small position in $NNE as well.
  • jonwest88: @bigbartabs $NNE $CCJ $URA $NLR Nice almost 40% move with $URA from Sept dip
  • Onthemark: Took healthy starter in $CCJ. Plan to add on the way up.
  • bigbartabs: @Henry $NNE ... keep track of $CCJ as well... big player as nuclear grows in the headlines.
  • bigbartabs: @Henry ... $CCJ also looking strong
  • Henry: @bigbartabs $CCJ yes I was going to post that $NNE had to look at the 8 ema before reversing. Hard to say what normal volume is for this stock but it is ahead for low volume days.
  • bigbartabs: @Henry $CCJ $NNE ... I like the small nucs market. It seems to me if that can be perfected, we (actually our kids and grand kids) should have vehicles motorized by safe nuclear energy in their life times.
  • woodman: Given the discussion about nuclear stocks, here's my #Uranium stock watchlist: $LEU $URNJ $DNN $UEC $UROY $UUUU $URA $NXE $URNM $CCJ $URG. It's somewhat old and likely needs some updating. And there are additional related tickers within a broad #DiversifiedIndustrials industry (e.g. $NNE $SMR in the nuclear-rlated businesses) and more in the #Utilities sector ($XLU broadly, and see, e.g., $NRG $CEG...), and even more in the broad IndustrialMetals&Mininerals industry. Nonetheless, looking at those #Uranium stocks on my watch list, the majority of these have a similar looking charts at the moment - whether below or above the 200d - with the latest activity similarly patterned for most of these in the form of some short term consolidation. I'd be guessing to say what their moves will be from here.
  • bigbartabs: @woodman $LEU $URNJ $DNN $UEC $UROY $UUUU $URA $NXE $URNM $CCJ $URG $NNE $SMR $XLU $NRG $CEG #Uranium #DiversifiedIndustrials #Utilities #Uranium ... what are your favorites? I owned $CCJ until a few days back, when RSI hit and went flat on the over bought line. Been hoping for a pullback to re-enter.
  • woodman: @bigbartabs $LEU $URNJ $DNN $UEC $UROY $UUUU $URA $NXE $URNM $CCJ $URG $NNE $SMR $XLU $NRG $CEG #Uranium #DiversifiedIndustrials #Utilities #Uranium - Good question. I don't have an answer right now. I need to look through the charts more thoroughly. I'm only in $NNE right now. Truth be told, I'm leaning more toward preserving $$ given the turn in domestic (hurricanes, strikes) and foreign (Middle East) situations ... at least short term. But, then, the election is coming soon. I have to figure out how I want to be positioned. I'm not concerned about my specific biotechs - I comfortable with my plans for those - but other stuff, I'm not as certain.
  • bigbartabs: @woodman $LEU $URNJ $DNN $UEC $UROY $UUUU $URA $NXE $URNM $CCJ $URG $NNE $SMR $XLU $NRG $CEG #Uranium #DiversifiedIndustrials #Utilities #Uranium ... I think that's a good way to look at it. Probably not the best time to be getting carried away with any tickers... until we know where all this war talk and port strike goes.
  • woodman: @bigbartabs $LEU $URNJ $DNN $UEC $UROY $UUUU $URA $NXE $URNM $CCJ $URG $NNE $SMR $XLU $NRG $CEG #Uranium #DiversifiedIndustrials #Utilities #Uranium - Almost on cue, the market is coming back some. LOL. But, yeah, I'm just kind of watching. I haven't sold (except for selling $AMSC today which I am watching to buy back possibly, additional profit taking in $RKLB, and stopped on $SMR yesterday), but overall I'm not in the mood to buy rhrn.
