- Bandit: @scottrades $BITO Scott, BITO seems to underperform bitcoin generally, is that because of the high distribution they pay out every month? Do you think BITO is a good way to play the bitcoin recovery longer term? Thanks
- scottrades: @Bandit $BITO The Divy is pretty nice by the looks of it. I'm sure it will do well if we see a BTC recovery but it is quite far off the highs (over 60%). I suspect they've seen some outflows since $IBIT $FBTC and the others have come to market. I've personally been using $MSTR for my Bitcoin stock exposure as it has smart leverage built in and usually outperforms to the upside. You could also look at $IBIT or $FBTC which are quite liquid. Depends what you want. Some people in the chat here like HODLing $BITO for the Divy but long term most Futures based products phase out.

- Geewhiz: @Tropicalhouse $BITO $FBTC $BITO holds future contracts. Does not own bitcoin. ProShares Bitcoin ETF is a futures ETF, which means that it does not directly hold Bitcoin. Instead, it owns futures contracts, which enable the fund to gain exposure to Bitcoin prices without taking possession of the cryptocurrency. Futures contracts expire, which means that the ETF will have to roll these futures contracts into later maturities. This exposes the fund to rollover risk, notably when the futures curve is upward sloping (an upward sloping futures curve is said to be in "contango"). I have owned it since January. Dividend returns have so far equaled 25% of purchase price. Appreciation has been along bitcoin performance.

- Henry: @miriam786 $GBTC $ETHE $BITO You would do better asking questions in the morning. Grayscale has some"trusts $GBTC $ETHE both hold coins. They trade at a 27% and 37% discount to the coins they hold. At one time they traded at a premium. Grayscale has been trying unsuccessfully to get ETF status BITO is a futures product. Futures have "slippage" when they have to roll the contracts out. I would suggest avoiding any futures product unless you are a @Forexpro

About 8% above the 50 day and looking like a top, Powell speaking to congress.
