- Forexpro: @Maxtrade $tbt Understood, Maxtrade, But that's effectively a leveraged bet on the bond market, and I think that the best handle on that market's overall directionality is offered by the 10-year note, rather than the eccentric 20-year or the less liquid, more volatile 30-year bond. - DAN: @Maxtrade $tbt The 10 year is the benchmark. The 20 year is generally tied to that. The yield curve is inverted now (2 vs. 10's), where the 10-year is lower than 2-year yield. The inverted curve has a 100% track record in forecasting a recession. But generally speaking, the yields run together. The 10 is just easier for me to follow..., but is definitely not the only way to track such things.

In last nights (10-26) Strategy Session you mentioned that if you’re in this for the long ... - MmaxX: @rmacron $TBT I was curious about these same things on $TBT if we could get more detail on the stock and what would make it continue to rise or fall, for me it's so different than the normal growth stock company it's a bit hard to understand but I have been super impressed by its performance since added to the ATL. I have no idea what will happen long term. I can't game the Fed, or how the 20+ year treasury will trade. I just know that it's been a monster trade and you've got to be taking some profits when a trade is up 30% in this brutal market. You focus on the chart first. The chart incorporates everything -- it has no opinion itself. I will be covering it again tomorrow; but Scott is going the SS tonight. Hope this helps.

- woodman: @MmaxX $TBT - same here, I sold on 10/21 and 10/22 and even more (via a stop) this morning. As for buying back, I'm going to wait for now to see if it holds the 8dEMA or perhaps gives us a shot at the 13dEMA as it's done a few times on this relentless march upward. But there's always a chance I change my mind based on evolving conditions.
