The Dollar is breaking down and just touched December 2023 levels, that’s been positive for $GLD and $TLT which I’ve kind of been pounding the table on for a while now. I think these sectors are buyable on Pullback Bounces as long as the ... - bigbartabs: @scottrades $GLD $TLT $UUP $CP $TECK $GOLD $MGA $F $GM $SU $IMO $CNQ $IBIT $MSTR $LEN $KBH $PHM $MHO $TOL $NVDA $META $ANET $PLTR ... and there's few economic interruptions that turn out as severe as transportation disruptions. Take the LA Port fiasco that occurred... perfect example of how bad it can get in that sector.
- RichardinME: $GLD Got punished this morning after some "good" housing data. Closer to the 8 day EMA. Will be interesting how it acts after Jackson Hole. Gold is never as rewarding as Crypto or AI but calls are a lot less expensive than they were earlier in the month.

- RichardinME: @champ $NUGT #News-trade I don't think this all do to tensions. Gold/GLD have been in an uptrend for a while but have not been as rewarding as Equities and Crypto over the years. I think it goes higher based on the charts and weak dollar alone. I just wish I did not sell my $GLD OCT calls Wednesday after a CPI. For me it's harder to pay more for something two days later.

I know you or Scott will probably talk $GLD but would it be possible to touch on $SLV as well? $SLV seems to be trade like a leveraged play on $GLD much like $MSTR is to $IBIT so more risk but more reward. Gold, even while in an uptrend, is never as rewarding as bitcoin or momentum stocks but silver almost always follows gold but with about 3 times the volatility.

- PTinME: @scottrades $SLV $SLV might be setting up to outperform $GLD and the miners if we can get past 30, looks like it could make a run at the 50 dollar level like it did back in 2011. All look good but $SLV might be the outperformer much like $MSTR should outperform $IBIT. Just an opinion if the past repeats itself.

We’re finally getting some decent consolidation on Gold. It’s down right now in the premarket but $GLD is holding around its 21 EMA. $GDX is also in consolidation and could offer an entry if it can get above and stay above the 8 Day.

- PTinME: $GLD......just got in at 112. Think it might be a good hedge if the market sells off but seems more like a trade much like the market. sell into strength and buy back.
