- woodman: @Carpe_Diem $IDR - Great chart, for sure, but I thought $MP is the largest holder of rare earths in the US (as a fully integrated rare earth producer), whereas $IDR is primarily a gold miner.
- Carpe_Diem: @woodman $IDR $MP - Correct $MP's Mountain Pass mine in California is the largest producing mine. $IDR has the largest land holdings (Still a few years away) from producing rare earths. I hope this clarifies.

- woodman: @ReneeH $GEV $VST $BE $MP $LEU $OKLO $CCJ $NNE - Hi, Renee. I've been trading the charts and keeping myself informed generally about what they do and why they are imporant. But I have not done the work to be able rank them as long term holdings. I know many feel that OKLO is one to keep long term, but I wouldn't feel good about making any predictions. OKLO is more of a hair-on-fire stock now, it seems. Perhaps over many years it will be a sensational gainer. If GEV VST $CEG $NRG are more like steady eddies, without the hair on fire aspects, they may make for good long term stocks as well. Ones you can hold and not lose as much sleep as the OKLO's of the world. Sorry I'm not of more use here.

- champ: $MP...up another $3.50 in the AH and is zigzagging... however this stock just keeps on going, off of this strong AH News-flow, and this has been one of my best positions......and it is really hard to know what they are going to report on their earnings report tomorrow, after the close. .....However my guess is, they will probably have strong guidance, for the rest of the year. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ....This looks really positive.

It comes in 3’s so maybe $UAMY news is next . If not , I’m sure I’m going to win the Draft Kings ($25 entry ) British Open this week . 1st place is 1 mm. Scottish open last week only won $52 as one of my players missed the cut so only had a 5 man team . As the Indian convenience store owner says about that scratch off ticket , it’s coming my friend it’s coming .

It would sure make a lot of sense for this given how much China controls of this stuff (especially the processing) and what I've recently come to realize is that its not only used in military equipment / weapons, but in autos, and a whole bunch of other electronics across all kinds of products. China does have us by the short hairs with these rare earths.

- bill52: @champ $MP Another company I've been keeping an eye on in this space is American Resources $AREC. They apparently have a technology that is much more efficient and environmentally friendly than existing methods for processing rare earths. They are a pretty speculative company at the moment and trying to get their operations rolling, but if their technology is as good as they claim and if they can scale it, this one could be very interesting.

- RD: $MP Downside reversal close to LOD. MP Materials Corp (NYSE:MP) shares are trading higher Wednesday. The stock appears to be getting a boost from reports that China put export restrictions on select rare earth metals.
