I don't think you are early, since a lot of support at the 200dma and 50dma, with some room up to the 8dema... and TNA is the best performer of the indexes today. For all the indexes, getting back above their 8dema's is an important level to keep buyers coming back in. So far all 4 indexes are staying pretty healthy, working back higher. Of the 4 indexes, the only one I don't currently have a position is $UDOW, since it's now pretty stuck in the mud below the 8dema.

- Bert953: #MrMarket - could this be the summer doldrums? More market weakness as $SPY $QQQ gap and crap. Interestingly, $DIA and $IWM opened below yesterday's low and are now running up. As I snugged up some stops, they were taken out, including 1/2 my slightly profitable $CRCL position. Lets be extra careful out there.
- bigbartabs: @Bert953 $SPY $QQQ $DIA $IWM $CRCL #MrMarket ... here's a trick I have used for years... watch 40 minutes after any market hour... as the 6th 10 minute candle ends after each hour. It's there that it seems a lot of traders / computer trading decisions are made... and often take a turn up or down. Not always of course, but there's some consistency there that I've noticed for years... especially for indexes and their derivatives.
- Bert953: @Auto $ATAT Hmmm broke out of a recent squeeze, but could be ready for a rest or a pullback. Today's candle is a tombstone doji at the top of the range, which is an indication of a reversal. I have a small position, with a stop at 36.11 to protect my meager profits. So far today, the price has been consistently below the 10 min VWAP so I'll likely get taken out. Noticed that $SPY and $QQQ are printing 1st green candle of the day. $IWM and $DIA running up all morning. Not sure what to make of this disconnect.

Market Pacific Time starts at 6:30am... so first alert to set is 7:40 (1st iteration is 7th candle from the open), then 8:40, then 9:40, etc ... til the last alert 12:40pm. (all the alerts after the first traverse 6 candles). The alerts all hit 40 minutes after top of the hour until the close.

- Bert953: #MrMarket - did some light buying this am, but looks like I could be wrong as the indices seem to be rolling over. $SPY and $QQQ are testing the opening print which was a gap and run, but as I said, they've now started showing weakness. I rebooted and it came back but I was thinking unkind thoughts about it though its served me well for many years. Anyway, being focused on $CRCL I didnt open finviz to see the market trend until now. The indices so far look like a gap and crap. $IWM looks strongest, $QQQ weakest. We'll see how the close goes.
