- Henry: $BA 777X damaged engine mounts halt testing. I am starting to wonder if this is something more sinister than incompetence. It doesn't end there, the FAA orders inspection of 787 pilot seats. The motor that moves them fore and aft can get a stuck switch.
- debeers: $BA-"uncommamnded movement??" In your car you can move the seat easily. This isn't hi tech!! OUT and not lookin' back Henry.

When you cannot make as many as folks want.THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF A HIGH CLASS PROBLEM. $TOL- always makes it numbers and reports tomorrow. $TSLA- for now ok. Just make sure you relook before earnings. $WMT- when the folks in my neck of the woods shjop there, i take notice of that. Meanwhile the ee's get to buy their own stock.

- debeers: $BA-If the CEO of UNITED likes Ortberg, that is good enough for me and a positive catalyst on the way as Lockheed and Boeing prepare to sell ULA So of course I might need to go into rehab as Boeing is the equivalent of a serious drug for me but if Ortberg can do for Boeing what the CEO of GE did for that stock---gamechanger as they have the orders now all they need is quality control.

NASA said on Wednesday that astronauts delivered to the International Space Station by Boeing's(BA) Starliner could return on SpaceX's Crew Dragon in February 2025 if Starliner is still deemed unsafe to return to Earth.

- RichardinME: @marklesparkle $CRWD I was trying to think of similar examples with other equities. $CMG lost I think about half of it's value and was trading in the 300's before recovering to over 2000 before the split of course hundreds did not die. $BA we all know that was trading at 400 or so before the first crash, went down to about 100 and is still in no mans land. $CRWD may or may not ever get their customers confidence back but are there alternatives? With BA, there is Airbus, with CMG, well, they never killed anyone, and CRWD, we don't know how long this will drag on

Boeing ($BA) is up this morning after they reported a non-GAAP loss per share of -$1.13 versus the consensus estimate of a $0.50 loss. The stock is up nearly 4% in pre-market trading, though there is no guarantee that the wheels won't fall off the ... - DAN: The wheels did indeed come of the $BA plane. Nice takeoff...but now doing a serious dive. All things considered, it was predictable.

Borrowers are missing their payments to a point w ... - Lou: I've owned a small watch position in $BA for some time and have been waiting for it to arrest its downward plunge. Based on those observations, I have a feeling that the 170 area is about it. I continue to watch that price point and am contemplating building a position. It's too important to US industry to suffer the fate of $TSLA and, IMO, to become irrelevant like $TSLA. I'm bracing for the arguments from $TSLA fan-boys.
- PTinME: @Lou $BA $TSLA I can only Imagine the pain the TSLA bugs have suffered the last 3 years. Many might have started buying in the 400 range. I bought 100 shares at 161 thinking that was support in the past. Then thought the 52 week low around 151 would hold. I'm a better trader than I was a few yeas ago? I would say yes. Should have sold had a stop. But I'm still a "less bad trader." A few years ago I would have bought more on the way down to the point where I was maxed out with margin. When it dropped further, I would have sold all the positions to buy calls to somehow turn the trade into a break even.
- debeers: $BA-Bought this at 170 because A. This level worked for me before and B. I don't think any employee will be allowede to go to the bathroom unless escorted by a supervisor. Right hnow, i don't give a ---- about the number of planes that will be produced. I just don't want life endangering screw ups. C. I know i can count on you, Lou, to lock me in my room and point out to me just what a dumb move we both made-----if we did.
