- X802tp01: $RTX reported earnings the other day and took a flush down followed by 2 big green candle days to a new high. Multiple PT upgrades to 170/180. The other day Trump announced he wanted to modernize the Air Traffic Control system and only RTX and IBM would be allowed to bid. That could be a big catalyst that is not getting much play.

- Henry: @bwcarnation1 $LMT $RTX $GD I've read that the success of the stealth F-117 in whatever was the number of the Gulf War where it was first used drove top secret installations, all over the world, underground. They are telling us Israel doesn't have a bunker busting bomb. IDKW, they are the number 1 recipient of foreign aid, after Ukraine. Maybe you need a big bomber to deliver it.

- Henry: @MongosPawn $RTX I'm long, long term, but there is this little tidbit in ToS via the WSJ: 0828 ET - RTX says it's reached compensation deals with nine customers over the problems with its GTF engines that have grounded hundreds of Airbus aircraft. Spirit is one of the few to so far disclose a deal, and analysts expect settlements could cost RTX $2.5B this year. RTX didn't change its expectation that the issue could cost as much as $7B to rectify. CFO Neil Mitchill says talks continue with partners including MTU-- RTX has 51% of the program--about their share of the bill.

- Docoof: @bigbartabs @Henry $ITA $DFEN —$RTX reported pre and it’s getting crushed. IBD: Raytheon disclosed it discovered a manufacturing defect in its Pratt & Whitney unit from a rare condition in powered metal used to make certain engine parts, which will require "accelerated fleet inspection." The defect does not impact engines currently in production, but a "significant portion" of the PW1100G-JM engine fleet will require removals and inspections in the next nine to 12 months. The PW1100G-JM engines power thee A32neo commercial planes made by Airbus. RTX estimates roughly 200 accelerated removals will be required by mid-September this year.
