Nick Santiago from In The Money Stocks told me many years ago..."If you form an opinion in the market, you will get slaughtered." So don't THINK where price is going to go. Let the charts tell you. And don't beat yourself up. No one bats 1000. Think positively, and as Plato said, know thyself.

I'm more of a longer term trader, but enjoy the ideas of the other styles. Sometimes I do research and take the trade as well if I think it's good for my portfolio. Something I learned along the way in my many years, "Take what you want, and leave the rest". It works for me.

Now I do not take all GSL trades as I want to understand your process (I have read the process) for each of them (especially entries as they are not always in the same configuration example TTD vs CTXS) . There are times now where I have the same stocks on my focus list as well to name few $ORCL, $DVA, $AMD, $MSFT, $AAPL, $NLOK and list goes on (My entries and time frame vary in some cases as I have a full time job which is not day trading). Key is I am learning from you (Dan) and am working on building and refining my own process which mimics yours as frankly that is what will work for me I think. - DAN: Palomar ($PLMR) is being added to the S&P Small cap 600. We took 1/2 off the table at $72. the stock is now at $71.60. I'm putting in a tight stop on the remaining shares at $69.95. This locks in a 12% gain for the balance of our shares. We put this on the GSL on May 22nd. With the stock up so much in a short period of time, I want to make sure we don't ride this up and down rather than booking a great gain. Dan
