- limes141: @Dan Is $GNRC a good chart to own--as Dave Keller will say? My answer is yes but I am not confident. I say yes because it is still holding from the earning gap up. My lack of confidence is it has been range bound in the 190s. One would say yes but in my "studying" basing can go wither way. Looking forward to your teaching @Dan. I got in July 11 as it was coming up from the 200 sma. Thank you

- billyzeke: @champ $HD $LOW $OC $BECN $GNRC Speaking of hurricanes and generacs...this is day four for us without power and I'm thankful my elderly parents have a generac back up system running right now. We lost power here at 9:31 am friday morning just after the market open and soon thereafter our internet service. Thankfully we were spared most of the massive flooding so many others in nearby North Carolina and Tennessee have suffered but we did get a lot of wind and hundreds of downed trees. Our internet was restored within 24 hours and they say we should be getting power back by midnight tomorrow. So thankful that my family is safe knowing that so many others have lost everything. Prayers for everyone affected by this storm.

- phgruver: @bigbartabs $GNRC ...Well, a $GNRC generator is the ultimate prep. for hurricanes or other natural disasters.... Unfortunately, it takes more than 1 or 2 days to get one delivered and installed, but there's nothing like an impending storm to get people thinking about their vulnerability to outages. I would expect that $HD and $LOW would be more direct beneficiaries of the effects of a storm.

- bigbartabs: @phgruver $GNRC $HD $LOW ... in our neck of the woods here in the Sierra Nevada foothills... our problem is wildfire... where our utility company Pacific Gas and Electric can and will shut power off at a moment's notice if high winds break out. I have a couple portable generators (Pulsar and Predator) that put out enough to keep our house powered when that happens. Just the way of life these days living in CA.
