- Henry: @fracifu19 $VEOEY French water stock. Some of the water stocks have done well lately. I do not own any, $AWK is consolidating, earnings next week, Veiola only trades 30-40,000 shares a day. For that reason, and that I have no idea what goes on in France, I would avoid it. I agree the morning live sessions need you to be in front of your computer the whole time. If you have another job, you can't be a day trader. You need to trade in a much longer time frame than the next 59 minutes.

The released earnings on 11/21 and have been rallying since then. $WDC and $STX - both are IBD stocks, both have good div yield, and both look ready to move higher on the daily and weekly chart

I had gotten a bit spooked there when it ran up so hard around June.. but i figured if it was gonna be long term i should keep'er around. With it being water i can't see it being something that falls apart too horribly.. They have been acquiring companies in the recent past to help them grow.

However it is falling out of a vs to the downside and loosing the 50ma.. the 200ma is quite far down too.. this one just feels to far out in the stratosphere for me now. $XLU is also under the 50ma.. it has appared under it b4 a few times.. however not while falling out of a vs to the downside..

- JJS: $AWK, for the longer term ports, this is Water Works, founded 1888, largest US water and waste water utility co. covering over 30 states and part of Canada. Just check out a 5 year chart. It got a little ahead of itself but coming back to an investible support area for any interested. Has a small div with 1.85 yld. Any other thoughts welcome. JJS

- JJS: @Spotdog $AWK $XYL, XYL is global in its reach, but I like the consistency of the AWK chart more, look at it over past 5 years. Also just thinking that with global reach with over 150 countries, that economic uncertainties more likely to affect earnings in some of those countries. Just my preference, also AWK nearing support for a current position and XYL not so much. Best wishes. JJS

Is this time to buy or time to watch and wait for the next pull back to buy. Maybe take some profits where we have them if we see the market starting to loose steem. I'm just watching. Lots of charts like those I wish I had been in before the big run up, but I sure am not buying much up here. But what do I know? My account balance says not much. Same as when I started 8 years ago. Big push of volume with this.. might be one to watch if you want to try to short near a high if it isn't able to take out the pervious high.. This seems to be the highest/mountain of volume I can see on the chart.. the Utility move seems to have ended up quite parabolic lately.. AWK is still in a very nice weekly trend.. However it seems to be very close to an action pt imo.. if it goes higher.. Than the parabolic move is gaining steam as I c it.. and it would be breaking the channel to the upside.. If we fall back then our p/b has started.. and somewhere around 55 would seem logical off the wkly chart. I haven't played w linear regression channels yet.. Just basic hand drawn types..

It's a volume subchart which shows the usual 5-min volume plus the previous 3-days opening volume average, plus today's opening vol ... - brandonh: @herrmag $HE utilities and other "safe plays" taking a day off. bought some $AWK as is appears to be at the low of its trading range. If market volatility returns, these will probably continue to the upside. $XLU

- martyrb3: $AWK Here in the greater Detroit area, there is a constant media barrage on the water crisis in Flint. I think there is likely to be some attention to water quality and infrastructure beyond Flint (should be for sure). Started a position in long term account.

- dagdog: $AWK - A slow mover but this chart looks great. Resuming uptrend on the weekly. Daily consistent pullbacks to the 50 sma as support and then up to the upper bollinger band. Rinse and repeat. Could be a nice, predictable trade until it stops working...

On the weekly, the 10 ema seems to be holding as support and gradually moving higher. It's also in a #squeeze. Higher lows, lower highs...who knows which way it will go. Up would be fun! Earnings reported Nov. 2.

- Dave: $AWK - scotto, I've had my eye on $AWK and some other water-related stocks and the ETF's. I think that this is going to be a good sector, but I haven't had time to do much research on the better stocks. Had some $ITT and sold for a small profit as I became concerned on their reliance to gov't contracts.
