  • joelsg1: $CRWD In their quiet period into E next Thurs. but yesterday announced pshp with $ZS. Long from way below, seems $112 drop to almost the 200d is sufficient pennance. They already have pshp with $OKTA, showing they don't have to acquire competitors like $PANW did with $CYBR.
  • joelsg1: $PANW Nice pop from great E yesterday, confirming pattern buy when the RSI hits 30, though still below the $12 implied move. And they have the $CYBR deal to digest. I'm long but heavier in $CRWD which reports 8/27, same day as $NVDA. Lost the ah pin action and now basing around $420 with its RSI headed to 30 as well, my trigger to add pre-E. $PANW is the largest cybersecurity co. but felt it needed the $CYBR deal to boost its agentic identity security offering. $CRWD already has that with its Falcon platform and partnership with $OKTA.
  • Mikev200: $CYBR watch for follow through this week.
  • joelsg1: $CRWD As a LT holder since $200 from outage 1 year ago, always watch the cybersecurity E cycle which began with $FTNT last night-no bueno due to guidance concerns re their firewall refresh biz. $CRWD getting hit as a result, even though $CRWD is not really firewall focused. $PANW is but is trying to move towards full platformization with its recent $CYBR buy. So, watching for a turn entry in $CRWD, even though may have to wait until after $PANW E 8/18 but before $CRWD's E 8/27.
  • joelsg1: @joelsg1 $CRWD $FTNT $PANW $CYBR I thought $450 might be the entry level, but now more like $430 and counting.
  • jonwest88: @joelsg1 $CRWD $FTNT $PANW $CYBR added some CRWD @430 now 425. PANW have had them from the 70's and 130's and added some the yesterday and today avg @ 174. They are not having the same issues as FTNT. Let it ride. Not a good trading vehicle anyway. CYBR was a good buy for them
  • romanalexk: $CYBR worth watching.
  • kenb: @romanalexk $CYBR being acquired by $PANW for cash and stock. Will trade along with it.
  • romanalexk: @kenb $CYBR $PANW Thank you for the insightful info. I did not know.
  • kenb: $PANW still falling, seems Mr Market really doesn't like the $CYBR deal. Still bullish on the company long-term and holding a profitable position, looking to add when it stabilizes somewhat. Not yet, it's still dropping and I can't see any MVA's around this level that might provide support.
  • ReneeH: $cybr on this pullback?
  • kenb: @ReneeH $cybr not sure, at this point it's arbitrage, and is going to trade along with $PANW price action. I have a position in $PANW which is down, but longer term I think it is going higher and I added this morning even though it is under all the MVA's. Palo Alto Networks agreed to acquire CyberArk Software in a deal worth $25 billion , the two cybersecurity companies announced Wednesday. CyberArk shareholders will receive $45 in cash and 2.2005 shares of Palo Alto common stock for each CyberArk share they own. The deal is expected to close in the second half of Palo Alto's fiscal 2026.
  • ReneeH: @kenb $cybr $PANW so right, thank you. Looking for leaders on buyable pullbacks.
  • wijimmy: $PANW .. Nasty drop -20% in 3 days after announcing they are acquiring cyberark software for 25 billion $CYBR .. and today getting numerous downgrades and price target drops…. Guess the market thinks they overpaid.
  • kenb: @bigreek42 $sail have position and added when it was basing around the 50d. Getting some attention due to the $CYBR acquisition as another potential deal. Be aware, lockup expiration Aug 12 2025.
  • bigreek42: @kenb $sail $CYBR nice. I stopped out of 1/2 and then bought them back after it seemed to find support
  • traderbren: $CYBR v $PANW v $FTNT v $CRWD ???
  • traderbren: $CYBR - 'Palo Alto Networks Nears Over $20 Billion Deal for Cybersecurity Firm CyberArk; Deal For Israeli Firm Would Be Latest In Big Tech's Cybersecurity Consolidation' - WSJ Exclusive
  • Crodmm: @traderbren $CYBR $PANW Nearing a 20 billion $ deal to by CYBR
  • joelsg1: @joelsg1 $PANW $FTNT Whoops, $PANW in talks to acquire $CYBR for over $20B, eschewing $S. But more consolidation coming in this space.
  • kenb: @traderbren $CYBR and last week, WSJ reported $PANW was in talks to acquire $S, also an Israeli cybersecurity firm. Neither firm would comment.
  • kenb: @StockMarketMentor $SAIL guessing this jump is because of the $PANW $CYBR news, timing for the bump in price shows it happened about the same time. Already have a position, and it's been moving sideways since their ER pop.
  • traderbren: @billyzeke $PANW - yep, this might get some traction along with $CYBR.
  • djgustoso: $FTNT $CYBR ugly ugly day, is it time to head for the hills on these? Please cover in the SS tonight if possible @scottrades
  • ReneeH: @woodman $RBLX on watch here thank you. Also watching $CYBR, $RBRK from @dans StockWatch launch pad scans

  • StockMarketMentor: Adding Cyberark ($CYBR) to the ATI List Basis: 395.98 Suggested Stop: Always focus on not risking more than 1.5% of your trading account equity (not position size...but the amount you are willing to lose if the trade does not work out. [This will be the new approach to setting stops so that I avoid the "Trade Along with Dan" dilemma]. -Dan
  • MongosPawn: $CYBR Continues bouncing off of the 8dma.
  • MongosPawn: $CYBR CyberArk Software Ltd. (NASDAQ:CYBR) ("CyberArk"), the global leader in identity security, today announced its intention to offer, subject to market conditions and other factors, $750 million aggregate principal amount of 0.00% Convertible Senior Notes due 2030 (the "Notes") in a private offering (the "Offering") to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"). In connection with the Offering, CyberArk expects to grant the initial purchasers of the Notes a 13-day option to purchase up to an additional $125.0 million aggregate principal amount of the Notes. Stock is down about 4.6 percent as I write this.
  • fiebs: $CYBR breaking out today
  • mopick: @scottrades, $CYBR, time to buy?
  • scottrades: @mopick $CYBR You would want to use Yesterday's low as a stop to start
  • MongosPawn: $CYBR Added a little again.
  • MongosPawn: $CYBR Got a little on the bounce this morning. Beat on earnings, revised guidance upwards.
  • woodman: $CYBR nice set up, but it reports before the bell tomorrow. If I hold any through, it will be small.
  • woodman: $CYBR moving above resistance area (~$362) (inverse head and shoulder neckline area), following the path of $FTNT and $CRWD. $PANW a little behind, but these are all similar patterns. I'm still holding $CYBR $PANW.
  • woodman: @joelsg1 $CRWD $PANW - $PANW testing that $191 resistance level from 3/25-26. $CYBR testing that ~$362 resistance area from 3/24-26 Long both PANW and $CYBR.
  • joelsg1: @woodman $CRWD $PANW $CYBR Let's go!
  • woodman: $CYBR $PANW - I'm in CYBR, but it needs to get up through $362. It's following $FTNT (np currently) and $CRWD (np). I'm also long $PANW which needs a push through $191.
  • woodman: @joelsg1 $PANW $FTNT 👍 - I've been watching $FTNT and $CYBR, too.
  • woodman: $CYBR - keep this on your radar. (Earnings 5/13 bmo.)
  • pperlroth: @woodman $CYBR YEP, added just a smidge today
  • pperlroth: @woodman $CYBR also $FTNT
  • ZMan2: $CYBR is up 5% after a earning beat this morning.
  • woodman: @ZMan2 $CYBR - this has been a good one. I've *almost* bought it several times. Never pulled the trigger.
  • ZMan2: @woodman I hold $CYBR & $CRWD. Swapped $PANW for $CYBR because the CEO always seems to have to come on CNBC and clarify info put out during the ER call that should have been clarified during the ER call. Currently up 50% in $CYBR.
  • ZMan2: $CYBR is still moving up 7.70% today at 52 week high.
  • bengalrichter: $CYBR reports earnings tomorrow morning before the market opens.
  • woodman: $CYBR has been a nice runner. Short term rising support around 5-8-13dEMAs
  • woodman: #Cybersecurity moving well today. Not only $CRWD. Also, $CYBR (which has been a winner) and $PANW. Nice set up in $FTNT, too.
  • Cjauger: @woodman $CRWD $CYBR $PANW $FTNT #Cybersecurity large hourly volume for on $CRWD
  • woodman: @Cjauger $CRWD $CYBR $PANW $FTNT #Cybersecurity - what juiced CRWD?
  • joelsg1: @woodman $CRWD $CYBR $PANW $FTNT #Cybersecurity $BTQQF too, quantum security.
  • woodman: @joelsg1 $FTNT $PANW $CRWD - $CYBR has been another interesting one in the sector.
  • billyzeke: Was $CYBR not put on the ATI list a few days ago? Or maybe @Dan just mentioned it when he put $HACK on. Either way I own a little and it's doing well...I may have had an alert on it and just bought it when it broke above it.
  • champ: @billyzeke $CYBR $HACK....I posted on $CYBR and it is still really strong.
  • billyzeke: @champ $CYBR $HACK Yeah I remember now, you mentioned it and that's when I put an alert on and later bought it. Dan did mention it a few times, that's probably why I thought it had been added to the list. Thanks for the heads up on it Champ!
  • champ: $CYBR...HOD, up 4.5%, News mover.
  • champ: $CYBR...was just at HOD, just keeps zig-zagging higher, for now.
  • ZMan2: $CYBR to report ER tomorrow morning before the bell.
  • ZMan2: $CYBR at 52 week high today. 7% above its 50 day mva.

  • wineinquirer: @debeers $CRWD $ZS $CYBR $PANW Cybersec sector struggling since PANW announced earnings late Feb. Then came ZS and now $CRWD finishing near lod after strong earnings on very hvy vol. $CYBR a bit less damaged but still looking suspect. While logic would dictate that this sector should be strong in this era, the charts are saying otherwise! Can't help but thinking of @DAN's philosophy that when a stock or sector is not acting the way you think it should, believe the charts! Just intrigued as to the "why" and if existing/potential client budgets are overextended such that they are quietly reducing their investment in this important sector. Would certainly appreciate any additional insight into this. Previous positions in ZS & CRWD but none @ present.
  • Henry: @wineinquirer $CRWD $ZS $CYBR $PANW I agree with Woody and the Diamond chick, I'm watching CNBC on DVR delay, so maybe the CRWD CEO has already been on Cramer, but while I would say the breakout failed in CRWD, you can't say it's a bad chart.
  • kenb: @woodman $CRWD lifting all cyber security stocks as well. $PANW $NET $CYBR, they all took a hit after $PANW earnings. I still think $PANW is a long term buy at these levels as they go through the current strategy transition.
