- DAN: #GrowthStocks -- $PANW is getting close to breaking out. $TTD IS breaking out. $EVTC is running into earnings (reporting on 5/1 [Wednesday]), and $NOW is continuing its breakaway gap move. I am probably going to be taking $DATA off the list to make room for some other stocks. It's just not keeping up, and is trading consistently below the 50-day moving average, which is not what we want to see in stocks that are "supposed" to be doing well.

- DAN: @CraigReynolds $EVTC There's no general rule that I have, Craig. I think $30 is still ok. My stop is just below $29. That's kind of tight, but my logic for buying now is that I think the breakout is going to continue. Since that's my assessment, I don't need to give the stock much room to fall. I'll know I'm wrong if the stock falls below today's low.

- spmeyers: @mariner $EVTC for me it helps to have rules for situations like this so I'm not so much in "should I or shouldn't I" mode -- that can wear one out over time. My rule with pullbacks is to wait for a day with at least a higher close than previous day, and with at least average volume -- sometimes I do break the rule, but only for a very small position and with a very tight stop. It does depend on market conditions, of course.
