- champ: $TNA $BLDR....it looks like this could be the zig-zag #U-turn that Investors have been waiting for and the Set-up probably is,.... a #little-more-positive from FOMC on Wednesday. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ and the only problem today was....the Markets #opened way-up....... .....and that was great for us swingers, however it is always hard-to-add, in a Market that is working... but is zigzagging higher...because it is real hard, to find a spot to add...or to get in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- barbjim12: @Scott. $BLDR is one of my larger positions. Unfortunately I have held during the recent downturn and am below water now. I am inclined to hold rather than take such a loss. Any advice would be appreciated.
- scottrades: @barbjim12 $BLDR Put a hard stop at 142. You need to respect the 50 Day MA and the 200 Day MA on Long positions without a cushion. Below bad, above good. I'd consider selling at breakeven to give your mind a reset and decide if you fundamentally like the company enough to try again.
- rmacron: @barbjim12 $BLDR It looks to me that with the exception of a brief two day respite in May, this stock has been stair-stepping down since April, and is now well below the 20, 50 and 200 day moving averages. This current “step” has been sideways all of June. Not knowing your entry or loss situation is, do you want to take a chance of further losses based on the chart activity, or do you cut your losses and live to trade another day? As always, you can always buy it back when the chart gives you an indication that the stock’s fortunes have changed, or you can just move on.
